Terms of Service
- You may NOT use my work for any sort of AI engine or NFTs. If I feel that this may be a possibility, I reserve the ability to decline your commission and you may be blacklisted.
- I reserve the ability to post each commission on social media unless requested otherwise. I also will be able to use said commissions for examples and/or portfolios.
- Commissions are PERSONAL USE ONLY. They may be used for profile pictures, banners, etc. but are prohibited for use of profit. If you would like to use the art for commercial work, please contact me for commercial rights.
- I do not mind each commissioner reposting or sharing the artwork online, but I ask that you provide credit to me: @probablyjinx and PLEASE DO NOT CLAIM MY ARTWORK AS YOUR OWN. ANY SORT OF TRACING, RECOLORING, OR STEALING IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED.
- I ask that you do not edit or make changes to my art, especially to promote political viewpoints or otherwise controversial topics. If you need edits made for specific circumstances, please contact me.
- Please note that the final price may change based on additional details and the complexity of the commission. I reserve the right to decline a commission if I feel my skill level may not meet your needs or if the request involves subjects I do not feel comfortable working with.
- Below is a list of things I generally will NOT do:
- Stolen/traced characters
- Fetish art (Some very few exceptions may apply, but the answer is generally no)
- Hate speech or otherwise hateful actions
- Illegal content
- Offensive characters
- AI or NFT training
- Robots/Mechas
- Armor (Unless very simple)
- Chibi/Cute (These don’t really translate well in my current style)
- Anything I otherwise state I am uncomfortable with
- Please allow time for your commission to be completed. I also ask that you let me know if you need your order by a specific deadline. Commissions with set deadlines might include an additional fee if the deadline is very short. I ask for up to three (3) months to finish each commission, in case of unforeseen circumstances. Generally each commission should be completed much before this time. This does not include time spent in the queue before I start your commission.
- I put a lot of time and attention into each piece to ensure quality and detail, but I am also living a life as is everyone else, so your patience is appreciated. Don’t be afraid to check in if you haven’t received an update in a while—I always enjoy providing updates if requested !
- I prefer that visual references for what you’re wanting be provided. If you have any sort of inspiration for your commission and/or poses you want, please attach it with your request. This helps to ensure that I can provide you with what you’re looking for.
- I also request that you provide a reference or at least some form of art for each character that you are commissioning, as I do not appreciate having to guess what your character looks like. I will not take written descriptions for characters and vague references may lead to your commission being declined.
Payment and Refunds
- Payment is via PayPal only as of current. An invoice will be sent to you on the date of commission unless otherwise decided. To begin the commission, a deposit of at least half of the full price (50%) is required upfront. After you approve the sketch and lineart, the remaining balance must be paid in full for me to proceed and complete the commission. I will only hold a commission slot for up to one (1) week before reopening said slot.
- If a refund is requested while the commission is in queue (NOT started), a FULL refund of what was paid may be provided.
- If you need to cancel your commission after paying the 50% deposit but BEFORE the sketch approval, a partial refund can be provided. I will retain a minimum 25% of the total cost for time spent on the sketch.
- If for some reason I am unable to complete the commission, I can offer up to a full refund on the piece depending on the circumstances. If it is a client issue that I cannot satisfy then a minimum of 25% of the total cost will be retained.
- The artwork may also be paid in-full upfront, but it will not change the rate that your commission is completed at.
- I please ask that you be considerate and patient. Inappropriate, rude or otherwise aggressive behavior toward me during the commission process will not be tolerated. You will be refunded for the commission by my own choice; A minimum 25% of the commission price will be kept by me, depending on the progress made.
- Upon beginning the commission, I will provide progress images of the sketch (and flat colors if needed) for your review. You will have the opportunity to approve or request revisions before I continue to complete the artwork. After you confirm the sketch, refunds are generally not available unless I choose to issue one for any reason.
- Upon completion of the commission, I will send a final (watermarked) version for your review. You may request only MINOR revisions at this stage.
- Once the final version has been approved, you will receive full .png files and watermarked versions for posting via email or other social media. No physical products will be sent.
BY COMMISSIONING ME, YOU CONFIRM THAT YOU HAVE READ, UNDERSTOOD, AND AGREE TO THESE TERMS, AS WELL AS ANY OUTLINED IN THE INVOICE.
